Gowanus Canal Competition

A competition entry. An area once known for its natural wetlands and marshlands, the Gowanus Canal developed into a heavily industrialized zone. The competition was in search of a solution that would remediate the water and natural wetlands, as well as bring back a mixed use into the area for a wide use of activities.

Central Florida Project

A semester long project, that focused on a 250 acre site that currently sits vacant. Our design goal was to create a community for adult-focused user groups. Within the project, we were asked to maintain the existing wetland and to incorporate them into our design. The design solution, was to incorporate the wetlands throughout the site, connecting them with a greenway. The site addresses the concerns for retail space, as well as residential and business space.
